Officially 55 folks attended Clark Wimberly’s great talk, “How to Cultivate Community with your WordPress Site”. Unofficially I can report that at least 10 more folks showed up and stood around the room just for the chance to hear how Clark developed and maintains the VERY successful WordPress site, androidandme.com. This site has over 40k ridiculously active users, and that base is growing daily. Clark shared a number of things he and his team did to foster site-visitor participation along with his tools and processes with our HandsOn WordPress group.

Clark presented this information at our recent Austin WordUp Un-Conference and all the participants left with some new ideas for building a robust digital community.
