The WordPress community is a vital and growing group of people sharing and supporting – even helping to find jobs and clients for each other. There is such a demand for people skilled in WordPress, that it benefits everyone to grow and foster this community.
I understand this on a very personal level. Some years ago, I discovered WordPress, but at the time there was very little documentation, and almost no training to be found. I struggled for months trying to create a custom theme for my website. Then I happened upon a local WordPress Meetup. I met experts in all aspects of WordPress who very quickly helped me solve my problems. Since then, I have honed my skills, and I am now a primary organizer and trainer for that same WordPress Meetup where I volunteer my time every week supporting new and long-time members of the community.
We will teach you how to plug into this community – not only to for all the amazing benefits, but also learn the many, many ways that you can begin to give back, and support others around you.
